DESCRIPTION: SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm entered the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours with the #11 Mercedes-AMG GT3 and a clear identity as one of the strong privateer Mercedes-AMG entries in SP9 PRO-AM. Driven by Kenneth Heyer, Jannes Fittje, Jay Mo Härtling and Philip Ellis, the team had already shown serious speed before the main race, including a standout P2 performance during the 24h Qualifiers. The 24-hour race itself became a much tougher story. After 108 laps, the #11 Mercedes-AMG GT3 reached P101 overall and P21 in SP9, with a best lap of 8:19.388 and an average speed of 113.759 kph. The final result does not fully reflect the pace the team had shown in preparation, but it underlines the reality of the Nürburgring 24 Hours: speed matters, but surviving the full race is its own challenge. Beyond the result, Schnitzelalm Racing also carried a strong team story into the weekend. The team used the race to support its young driver initiative and gave fans the chance to become part of the #11 car by signing the roof of the Mercedes-AMG GT3. That makes this entry more than just a race result. It was a privateer GT3 effort built around pace, community and the next generation of motorsport talent.
