DESCRIPTION: Manthey Racing arrived at the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours with one of the strongest stories of the weekend: the 30th anniversary of Manthey and the 10th anniversary of the iconic Grello design. The #911 Porsche 911 GT3 R, driven by Kévin Estre, Ayhancan Güven and Thomas Preining, started from P8 and quickly moved into the leading group. With a best lap of 8:13.671 and an average speed of 164.752 kph, the car had the pace to fight at the front. But less than four hours into the race, oil on track at Brünnchen caused an accident that forced Manthey to retire the Grello early. It was a painful DNF, but also a reminder of why the Nürburgring 24 Hours remains one of the most unpredictable races in motorsport.
