DESCRIPTION: Falken Motorsports returned to the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours with one of the most recognisable cars on the grid: the turquoise-blue #44 Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo26. The team continued its long-standing Nürburgring story with an experienced driver lineup of Klaus Bachler, Tim Heinemann, Sven Müller and Morris Schuring, combining proven Nordschleife knowledge with GT3 speed. The #44 Falken Porsche had the pace to be part of the competitive SP9 field. During the race, the car recorded a best lap of 8:17.284 and an average speed of 159.358 kph, showing that the package had real speed around the Green Hell. Falken’s presence at the Nürburgring is also more than a single race entry: the brand has been closely connected with the 24-hour event for many years, both through its race programme and its strong fan identity around the turquoise-blue Porsche. But the 24 Hours showed its harder side during the night. Shortly before midnight, the #44 Porsche was involved in contact while attempting an overtaking move and came to a stop beside the track. The incident ended Falken Motorsports’ race early and turned a promising SP9 run into a DNF. Even so, the #44 Porsche remained one of the visual and emotional landmarks of the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours.
