DESCRIPTION: Dörr Motorsport arrived at the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours with one of the most visually memorable and technically diverse lineups of the event. The team entered three different cars across three classes: the #69 McLaren 720S GT3 in SP9, the #59 McLaren Artura Trophy Evo in SP8T and the #169 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 in SP10. The headline car was the #69 McLaren 720S GT3, driven by Timo Glock, Timo Scheider, Ben Dörr and Marvin Kirchhöfer. Its retro livery was inspired by the Benetton B195, the Formula 1 car connected to Michael Schumacher’s 1995 world championship season. The design, driver suits and wider presentation made the car one of the emotional highlights of the weekend, while also supporting the Keep Fighting Foundation story around the project. On track, the #69 McLaren was the fastest Dörr Motorsport entry. It completed 150 laps, recorded a best lap of 8:15.557 and reached an average speed of 157.123 kph. The car finished P15 overall and P15 in SP9, giving the team a strong GT3 result in one of the most competitive fields of the race. Behind the GT3 effort, Dörr Motorsport also carried important class stories. The #59 McLaren Artura Trophy Evo continued the team’s SP8T programme, while the #169 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 represented the team in SP10. The Aston Martin had a difficult night, including a Code 60 penalty and later technical problems on the Nordschleife, showing once again how quickly the 24 Hours can turn from a race of pace into a race of survival.
