DESCRIPTION: Viper Niza Racing delivered one of the standout performances of the inaugural Michelin 12H Nürburgring 2026 with the No. 65 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO. Douglas Khoo, Dominic Ang and Melvin Moh kept the Malaysian entry on the lead lap through the overnight intervention break, placing it in position to challenge the established European teams when racing resumed on the Nürburgring GP circuit. The Mercedes-AMG led portions of Part 2 before strategy moved the battle into its final form. In the closing stint, Ang attacked on fresh Michelin tyres and rapidly reduced the gap to UP2Race’s Porsche. Viper Niza completed 300 laps with a fastest time of 1:56.083, crossing the line third overall, third in GT3 and second in GT3-AM. Only 0.469 seconds separated the No. 65 from second place.
