DESCRIPTION: Proton Competition fought at the front of the inaugural Michelin 12H Nürburgring 2026 with the No. 73 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) EVO. Jörg Dreisow, Manuel Lauck, Constantin Dressler and Joel Sturm shared a car that combined professional-level pace with the consistency required to remain inside the overall top four on the Nürburgring GP circuit. The Porsche reached the overnight intervention break second overall, giving Proton a strong position for Sunday’s restart. The No. 73 then moved into the overall lead before the next sequence of strategy decisions and pit cycles reshuffled the order. A fastest lap of 1:55.391 kept the car in the leading contest, and the team completed 300 laps without surrendering control of its class. Proton crossed the line fourth overall and fourth in GT3 while winning GT3-PRO/AM.
