DESCRIPTION: Continental Racing by Simpson Motorsport placed the No. 69 Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II among the leading cars at the inaugural Michelin 12H Nürburgring 2026. Vasily Vladykin, Paul Scheuschner, Miguel María García and Alex Aka shared the Audi, combining a fastest lap of 1:54.884 with a consistent endurance run across the two-part race on the Nürburgring GP circuit. The team’s most visible attack came after Sunday’s restart. Aka moved from seventh to fourth on the road, using the Audi’s pace to gain ground while strategy and traffic continued to reshape the order. Continental Racing remained in the front group through the closing stages and completed 299 laps. The No. 69 reached the finish fifth overall, fifth in GT3 and third in GT3-AM. That result delivered both a top-five overall finish and a class podium in the event’s first edition.
